Sweet Baby Girl

Yesterday I shared with you the boy version I created and promised you the girl version today. You can view yesterday's post here, or get a glimpse of it peeking out from behind in the photo below. :)

I just love this new set (Something for Baby)! It launches today in the new catty. I kept the card CAS so that the focus is only on the onsie. All the elements are the same as the boy version, but I added a few flowers that I punched using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack (that retired, sniff sniff!).

A New Year!

Can you believe you haven't seen me since last year? ha. I know, corny joke... but somehow it sounded better than saying you haven't seen me in over two weeks! :-|

Anyway, Happy New Year! I hope you had a great night and will have a great year ahead. I have lots of things planned after a busy end to 2013. I've been thinking a lot about what 2014 will bring. Here are a few things that are coming up at Hofkissed:

Try It Tuesdays

Will feature projects that I've tried based on challenge sites, things found on Pinterest, etc. It might not always be papercrafting, but it'll be fun!

Throwback Thursdays

Will feature my projects from way back when (some from 15 years ago!) and I'll recreate my design, I guess CASE myself, but make it better. I've learned a lot over the years - I used to cut everything by hand (gasp!).

Sketch Saturdays

Whether it's based off a sketch I created myself, or from one I found online, I'm going to create a project based on a sketch. Every Saturday. It'll be fun, and will help get my mojo back after the holidays... and maybe help you out too!

Weekly Series

I've got a couple things lined up here already - one on organization & another using up scraps. These are week-long series about various things. I've done both of these before, but they were both hugely popular, I thought I'd concentrate on these areas again. :)

Sunday Stamps

I'm still happily designing for Sunday Stamps and it is a bi-weekly challenge. If you haven't played along with us before, add that to your "to do" list for 2014! It's fun and will surely get your mojo working as we switch between colour and sketch challenges.

This past Sunday, we had a sketch challenge. One that I created, actually. I'm late in posting my design because on top of the busy holiday season, I was suffering a lot from migraines. Feeling better now and I was glad to be able to get down and stamp!

With Valentine's Day around the corner, I thought it was time to get started on some cards. Simple design, but I love how it came out! Why not pop on over to Sunday Stamps and play along with us?!

What's New and MM?

I'm still here... have you been wondering what's going on in my life? Well, my littlest one hit the 3-month mark over the weekend (can't believe that!) and life with kids is pretty busy, but on top of that, we have also decided to sell our house, so that makes life pretty crazy around here lately! Having to keep the house spotless for showings is near impossible with little ones! haha.

Being kicked out of the house for showings and raising two kids has left me little time for designing, but I also didn't want to craft much because my space becomes buried in mere seconds when I'm working. :) It's an organized chaos though... but I didn't think potential buyers would appreciate that.

Anyway, some of the projects I'll be showing you over the next few posts are ones I've done a while back, but haven't yet had the opportunity to showcase them here on my Blog. Here is one CASEd from one seen on Pinterest:

I added a few more layers and dimension then the one I saw and I'm happy with how it turned out. Although, many ask me what "MM" stands for. I thought it was pretty clear that it stood for "Mr. and Mrs." but maybe I'm wrong... what are your thoughts?

Mmmmm... Chocolate!

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you feel all sorts of love today from those around you...

I have some Valentine treats I created for members on my team, my loved ones and to hand out to random people today to bring them a little love too!

Paper: Pretty in Pink, Love Impressions DSP (retired)
Tools: Big Shot, Two Tags Bigz Die
Accessories: Heart Treat Cups (retired), Full Heart Punch,
Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Hershey Kisses & Mini M&M's

Aren't these sweet?! Simple to make too with the Two Tags Bigz Die. All you need are two tags and two pieces of matching card stock cut at 2-1/2" x 2-3/4" for the sides. I scored three sides of each piece at 1/2" and cut the "tabs" so that my little box had sides to keep the treats in. :)

For the Girls!

Woah, it's been a while! As you may or may not be aware, I'm taking part in a craft fair on Sunday (check out the sidebar for more information). I'm buried up to my head in cards & other handcrafted items - that's almost 6' of crafts! :)

Anyway, thought I'd share a quick picture of one of my favourite cards I've made... okay, one of several favourites. I thought I was quite clever using the tools I did. I created this card for the girls who are getting married. This would make a great bridal shower card.

I used the scallop edgelit to create the ruffles on the dress and the large heart punch, trimmed, for the top. I added some ribbon, pearls, more embossing to the background and viola!
