Christmas in July, Part 2

Hello. Glad to have you here today. Thanks for checking out my Christmas in July projects. If you missed yesterday's post (and a Blog Hop with more awesome projects), you can find them here.

Today's card features the Pop of Petals Stamp Set again, as well as the coordinating punch. I love coordinating products and I'm quickly falling in love with this stamp set too. It's so versatile - you get several different flower images and lots of foliage variety too.

I started by stamping several of the images in a collage format in the bottom right corner of both my front and inside layers using Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, Cherry Cobbler & Mossy Meadow Inks. Next, I heat embossed one of the flower stamps in silver on all four reds from Stampin' Up!. I thought this particular flower stamp could represent a poinsettia and the varied reds gave depth to the card.

To finish things off, I added some of the gorgeous 1/8" Real Red Ribbon and some bling. The sentiment is from the Half Full Stamp Set (also a great one to have) and I stamped that in Mossy Meadow.

Hey! Since I used several colours of ink on this card, I thought I'd tell you about how you can get 10 FREE INK PADS when you join my Kissed with Ink team before July 31st, 2018. This is an awesome Starter Kit add on (a $92 value!!) on top of the $165 in product choice all for just $135, no tax and no shipping. You don't need to do the business, you simply just need to want quality product at a heavily discounted price (and 20% off on EVERYTHING after that!). Contact me anytime and sign up here.

Until next time, stay crafty!

Christmas in July!

Hello and welcome to another Blog Hop! This month it's Christmas in July! We're featuring Christmas cards using "regular" stamp sets from the catalogue.

I chose the Jar of Love stamp set because it's not one I use too often (but LOVE!) and it needed some inky lovin'. I thought it would pair well with a new set - Pop of Petals. Would you agree?

I did the majority of my stamping using Crumb Cake Ink and used my Cherry Cobbler Blends (Dark) to colour in the berries. I added several Pearls that were coloured with the Blends also. I felt it added some depth to the berries.

Did you notice the shelf I created for the jars? Well, here's a better look. I simply cut a 3/4" strip of Wood Textures DSP (part of the Buy Three, Get One Free Designer Series Paper Sale on until July 31st!!). Then I trimmed a corner and scored across. When I adhered it to the card layer, I added Mini Dimensionals behind the "front ledge" of the shelf and Tombow Liquid Glue to the top.

I kept the inside fairly simple, adding a few more berries and a sentiment from the Hearts Come Home Stamp Set.
