So on to the projects I'm showcasing today - the Birthday Delivery Stamp Set & Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper. I loved this set when it first appeared and still love it so much that I think it'll stay with me for a little while longer. ;)
Anyway, these were the cards we made last week in my "Mommy & Me" class. It was for women & children to celebrate Mother's Day. Each made these three cards and we had lots of fun. Check them out:
I did a lot of extra prep because it was a big group and I had children attending. These would normally not be cards they'd make in my Kids Club classes, but wanted them to be special, so we did a few fun things. This first one eased them in, with very little stamping.
This next one was a definite favourite of the night. It had a fun popped-up element and then an unexpected surprise on how it opened. Everyone loved the bright colours.
Lastly, who wouldn't want a card with cupcakes and a poodle?!
I punched a couple of half circles in my card base using my 1/2" Circle Punch, 3/4" of the way up from the bottom. This allowed the ribbon to tie nicely and I really loved how it turned out. Will definitely do that again.
I really loved all the bright colours from this suite of products and the Designer Series Paper isjust spectacular!! It was one of the items that went on sale and I HIGHLY recommend you order some. You won't regret it! ;)
